FCI IGP World Championship 2019

FCI IGP WC 2019 will run from 11 to 15 September in Schwechat, Austria.

Dogs and visitors from more than 35 nations are expected.

Venue: Rudolf Tonn Stadium.

18 of August 2019 is the final deadline for registration of all participants.

  • Veterinary check.
  • Training of nations according to the schedule in the stadium.
  • 10.09.2019: Tuesday - Veterinary check.

  • Teamleader meeting.
  • Judge's meeting.
  • Introduction obedience and protection work.
  • Marching in of nations.
  • Drawing of the starting order.
  • 11.09.2019: Wednesday - Presentation in the stadium obedience and protection work.
  • Departure to the tracking meeting point.
  • 12.09.2019: Thursday - Presentation in the stadium obedience and protection work.
  • Departure to the tracking meeting point.
  • 13.09.2019: Friday - Presentation in the stadium obedience and protection work.
  • Departure to the tracking meeting point.

FCI IGP World Championship 2019

  • 14.09.2019: Saturday - Presentation in the stadium obedience and protection work.
  • Departure to the tracking meeting point.
  • Welcome evening without entrance fee with live music.
  • 15.09.2019: Sunday - Presentation in the stadium obedience and protection work.
  • Attractive supporting program until the closing ceremony.
  • Marching in of the nations for closing ceremony.

The schedule is subject to necessary organizational changes.

Judges and Supervisor: Ferenc Szuster - judge for Tracking (A), Miran Mars - judge for Obedience (B), Jens Fischbach - judge for Protection Work (C), Ernst Kisser - judge for Long-Down (B). Richard Strauss - supervisor Tracking (A), Igor Lengravsky - supervisor Obedience (B) and Protection Work (C).

Entry Requirements

A valid passport or ID card is necessary for people who live in the EU. A valid passport must be shown for people coming from countries outside the EU. Austrians show valid ID.

Guidelines

IGP Working Dog

  • These guidelines have to be followed with no exceptions:
  • All dogs are led on a leash (exception: during your own competition).
  • Dog feces are to be removed!
  • Training is forbidden on all tracking fields!
  • The daily departure to the tracking field is 1h before starting the first track in the group.
  • The dog handler and the teamleader are allowed to drive on the tracking fields in their cars and to park at the allocated parking spaces there for watching the competition.
  • The field has to be left after competition immediately.
  • Failure to comply with the above-mentioned points may result in exclusion.
